PEACH FUZZ - KOLOR ROKU 2024

For the twenty-fifth time, the Pantone Color Institute has announced the color of the year, and its presentation is one of the most anticipated events in the world of fashion and design. It is preceded by months of analysis of global trends, socio-economic events, and technological changes. This time, the choice of the leading color was motivated by the desire for understanding, closeness, and empathy.

For the year 2024, Pantone selected the shade 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, a delicate peach tone subtly positioned between pink and orange. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, emphasizes that this shade "reflects our desire to care for ourselves and others."

The color of the year 2024 perfectly aligns with interior design trends. Accessories and decorations in the Peach Fuzz shade will be an ideal complement, especially in the kawaii and dopamine design styles. It will warm home interiors, harmonizing well with neutral beiges as well as pastel colors. ✨

Sayako figurine

The inspiration for creating this figurine was the character Sayako Kuroda, formerly Her Imperial Highness Princess Sayako, who in 2005 left the imperial palace to marry Yoshiki Kuroda – a municipal official unrelated to the imperial court. She left the imperial family and lost her title, adopting her husband's surname.

The figurine depicts a beautiful, graceful woman with a very characteristic bang, reminiscent of the design from the 1960s – characterized by simplified forms, emphasized only by color, where not only the form itself played an important role but also the decoration designed for it.

Iris cup

The Iris Cup is decorated with a specially prepared ceramic paint, which, once dried, is chosen by painters using a stick (visible on the cup and saucer in the form of dots). This decoration refers to the embellishments of utility porcelain items from the 1960s.

After fixing the Peach Fuzz-colored decoration, the cups go back to the decoration department, where the painter embellishes them with 24-karat liquid gold.

The process of hand-painting porcelain means that the products cannot be washed in dishwashers.

A manual dedication can be made on the product, and it is placed in the center of the saucer where the cup is placed.

Joy vase

The porcelain vase is handmade from the highest quality porcelain, then hand-decorated with ceramic paint in the Pantone color of the year.

The decoration gently fades upward, highlighting the whiteness of the porcelain.

Products decorated in this color will only be made in the year 2024 (similar to the previous Viva Magenta collection - color of the year 2023).
