We are thrilled to announce a truly unique addition to the Living Museum of Porcelain in Ćmielów!
In July 2025, we opened *Adam Spała’s Emerald Chamber* – a one-of-a-kind space where history, art, and luxury meet in an extraordinary setting.
A wall filled with emerald porcelain monkeys, grand platters, and intricate details all reference a unique porcelain formula tinted with real crushed emeralds, developed by Adam Spała – the current owner of the Ćmielów porcelain factory.
Here, we invite you to take part in an exclusive, intimate workshop (up to 8 participants), where you can feel like an artist in a royal manufactory. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, each guest has the chance to apply 24-karat liquid gold to a cup, figurine, vase, or platter – the very same gold used by the factory’s porcelain painters.
The gilding process is pure magic: delicate brushstrokes turn porcelain into a work of art, and after firing in a kiln at several hundred degrees, the gold shines like never before. The final result is ready in about a day on working days (the firing takes a few hours, and the porcelain must cool to room temperature) – but we promise, it’s worth the wait!
This is more than a workshop – it’s a journey into a world of luxury, tradition, and top-tier craftsmanship you’ll never forget.
